Progressive Dinner... and other things...

So Rand and I recently both got the callings of activity chair and co-chair in our beloved singles ward. As if planning a wedding, finding somewhere to live, and a job isn't hard enough! ha ha. So we had this whole thing that we were in charge of, and I am giving all the credit to Rand for making things happen. I have been so stressed out and honestly I swear I never had time to do anything for it considering that I was put into the calling about three weeks before this huge event was to happen! So thanks babe!!

This past weekend my cousins triplets were sealed to them in the Salt Lake Temple. I wish I would have been able to share that experience with them, they are the most precious babies. Honestly they are a constant reminder to me that god works in mysterious ways, their whole story of how they came to be in our family is just such a strong testimony builder for me, and I am sure many in my extended family. They are such a blessing to Shelly and Sean, I have never seen them more happier and full of life if you can believe it!! Here are some pictures I stole from some of my cousin's pages....

Their cute little family!!

Ethan and Alex are fighting over my Dad's water bottle, he loves his Evian water and will share it with no one, except for these two cute boys!!

I love this picture of Lindsay and my Grandma... So Sweet!!

Apparently i've been tagged...

A: Each player answers the questions about themselves.
B: At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged on your blog.

What were you doing 10 years ago?

Madison:
I was a small little Beehive, trying to understand the fundamentals of becoming a woman. I probably thought some boy was cute, who knows. I bet I randomly sang out loud in the car with my family to the Backstreet boys or N'sync as my father shattered my hopes and dreams of becoming the next Britney Spears by telling me that I was a horrible singer... Oh well I kept on singing despite my pain.

Rand:
Ten years ago I was a 13 year old kid who was more concerned about playing sports everyday than I was about anything else. I loved playing basketball and baseball, and I was really starting to get heavily involved in golf. I was going through the ultimate awkward stage and I'm still not sure that I'm all the way out of it...

Five things on my "to-do" list today.

Madison:
1. Workout (P90X)
2. Watch my cousins kids
3. Stress about wedding stuff.
4. Clean up my room
5. Give Rand a big kiss

Rand:
1. Make sure Madison knows she's loved:)
2. Watch some kind of sporting event.
3. Stress about school.
4. Stress about life in general.
5. Enjoy living!

Six Snacks that I enjoy.

Madison:
1. Cutler's Cookies
2. Cadbury Mini Eggs
3. I love yogurt
4. Sour Patch Watermelons
5. My Mom's Brownies

Rand:
1. Sour Patch Watermelons
2. Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches
3. Slurpees!
4. Chips and Salsa
5. Soda Pop

Three bad habits.

Madison:
1. Sometimes I bite my nails
2. I always swear when someone cuts me off...
3. I cant think of a third one.

Rand:
1. I always pick at my lips.(Drives Madison nuts)
2. I let laundry pile up before doing it.
3. I say stuff before I think...not a good habit.

If I were suddenly a billionaire I would.....

Madison:
Buy a nice house here and in Hawaii, I would like to travel all over Europe, Fiji, New York, Scotland (so Rand can golf with Chase), Guatemala, New Zealand, Egypt. Just basically see the world!!

Rand:
Invest most of it and live off the interest! I'd travel a lot and play every golf course I've always wanted to play. I'd also find a job that I would love to do and I'd volunteer a lot more!

Five Places I've lived.

Madison:
I haven't lived five places yet... maybe one day.
1. Layton, Ut
2. Provo, Ut

Rand:
1. Fruit Heights, UT
2. Poplar Bluff, Missouri
3. St. Louis, Missouri
4. Columbia, Missouri

Five Jobs I've had.
Madison:
1. I worked at Baskin Robbins in high school.
2. I recently worked at a Dental office, as a Dental Assistant.
3. I currently work for the Utah Jazz. I love it, its the greatest job ever.
4. I nanny for my cousin Jill and her cute little kids!

5. Worked at Bukoos in Farmington, UT.

Five things people don't know about me.

Madison:

2. I secretly love to watch The Fairly Odd Parents, Hannah Montanna, and some other kid shows...
3. I know all the Aaron Carter songs... sad I know.
4. You might not know that I am a Stand Up comedian...

5. I was an accident child:)(Rand likes to call it a Surprise...)

Sad Loss...

Rand and his buddies from previous years of Davis High's basketball, got together and played on a little rec team. So every Thursday night for the past couple weeks we have been stuck in Farmington gym til at least eight or nine. Well last night needless to say Rand's team had two games for playoffs, and the championship. As they killed the first team to send them to the championship by twenty, they became evenly matched in the championship game. They lost by ten, but not leaving with out a few words said, and some harsh body language, they realized that they played good, and put up a nice fight but in the end came up a few baskets short. It was fun to relive some of Rand's old high school days and to get a small piece of that. Got to love basketball!

Greatest End to Feburary!!

So can I just say that so many great things have happened lately? First off I will start by saying that today is my first day of P90X!! I have wanted this work out program for the past little while. Me and my mother were up late one night and this commercial for P90X came on, now normally you change the channel cause its just dumb but i get sucked into these workout things way fast. So I continued to watch with extreme pleasure thinking that I could talk my mother into it! Well sadly to say even the best sweet talking didnt work (although in the past I have scored about 3 work out programs cause I am crazy about them!). So i was disappointed, but man can I just say it all worked out.. So one snowy afternoon last week I was watching my cousin Jill's kids when there was a knock at the door. So I ran to beat the little speedy two year old Whitney (aka Tinkerbell), avoiding toys, chairs and blankets....Long story short she won, So i signed for some packages and put them just inside the door. When I glanced back later that day I realized it said something on the side, so I got curious and checked, low and behold it was P90X!!! I about jumped in the air in pure excitement ! So anyway me and Jill decided that we would do it together!! Today was our first day of the next ninety days (I only have 87 days til my wedding to make over my body so I wont get to actually finish...:( Can I just tell you it was the hardest thing ever, and if you think I'm kidding I can only say to you that I run 5 miles everyday and I seriously had to pick myself off the floor after my workout today. My legs have felt like Jello Jigglers ever since! But hey I guess I know it worked, cause of how pooped we were after. I cant say that I recommend it yet, but I already am in love with the work outs if it gets me more toned!! I'll let you know my results and progress as it happens!!
Next greatest thing is that my favorite Easter candy came out... Drum roll please...

CADBURY MINI EGGS!!!
I wont lie, this is going to be a struggle not to have them all the time cause of my new work out, but they are DIVINE!!! I love them so so so so much! So if you haven't had these lovely sweets go to Smith's and grab a bag. Or if your just plain craving a great new candy that you can surely get addicted to be sure to get some!! Also its great because they only come out once a year.... so your safe to fall in love with them!!
Moving on, Rand and I went Tubing with our Singles ward, it was a blast. They had a machine that pulled you up with your tube, which is a great invention for any avid tuber. I've always found thats such a downfall to any tubing moments I have had prior to this fantastic invention. They had about four or five different tracks you can take, some were faster and others slower, but it was all really fun none the less. So here are some fun pictures from that night!!

This is me writing notes to Rand in the snow!! Cheesy but true! Rand wrote the best notes in the snow though!!! He loves me to death!

All Star Weekend

So sunday night, Rand and I got invited to eat a wonderful meal with our great friends Katie and Chase. Katie and Chase did a wonderful job on the dinner, it was by far the most delectable dish! After that the boys watched the All star game, with plenty of chips and salsa to feed an army, while me and Katie(mostly katie) made pudding! It was great, we love our friends, THANKS GUYS!

This is one of my Favorite dunks for All Star weekend! He freaking blew out a candle while dunking the ball..... A..M..A...Z..I..N..G!!!

Happy Valentines Day

"My Funny Valentine".... Need I say more! This recent Valentine's day is going down in the books this year. Randall surprised me with the prettiest flowers, in one of my many favorite colors, along with a massage!! I was so surprised, I had no idea! I dont know if many of you know this, but surprises are hard for me. If someone tells me that they have a surprise for me it drives me crazy, but when I dont have any idea to expect one, than its better for both parties. Randall has had to figure this out many times, and I think that he just discovered how it works!! ha ha. He used to tell me that he would have surprises for me, and soon I was filled with questions that would narrow the list down. Anyway, to sum it up I was surprised, and had no inclination to expect one! I got him the Jack Johnson CD, and some movie passes to see Vantage Point. He has been dying to see it since he saw the preview. Moving on, he also made me dinner, it was amazing! I loved every minute of it. I love Rand, he is such a thoughtful person, and always goes out of his way to make sure that I am happy. I dont know how I found this kid, but I think that I have hit the jackpot!! Here are a few fun pictures from that night!!

My sweet, sweet VALENTINE!

We were laughing so hard at something.... I cant remember what.

This is my BELOVED cat, Miss Kitty. Yes I know she is chubby by the way! ha ha.

I love him!!

My Beutiful PINK flowers! He surprised me with them, what a sweetheart!

I thought this was hilarious!! ha ha

Great day...

So today was hilarious with my cousins kids!! Mostly just Reagan, cause the other kids were at school and having a play date. Lately she hasnt been feeling well and when I got there today she was asleep. So after her mom left, (she literally woke up right as she pulled out!!) I went and picked her up. She was so darling when I walked in to her room. She was sitting there on her knees wiping her eyes, and this might be sick but I just love her so nothing this little girl does grosses me out, she has two little snot 'trains' running straight into her mouth. I felt so bad for her! So I cleaned her up and sat down with her to play with some of her favorite toys. For christmas santa brought them a little ball area, similar to the one at Micky- Dees (mcDonalds). She always crawls in and out of it, and its so stinking cute I cant stand it. So she went straight for it, crawled in and was having a blast. Thats when I started to take pictures of her(none of which show how much fun she was actually having). So moving on, she tried to get out and got stuck, she had pinned her leg up in the plastic toy somehow and couldnt get out. I didnt realize she was stuck and kept taking pictures until she finally just layed down and cried, no wait it was more like a sob than her actual cry! So i freed her and she was so mad at me, as if i was the reason she got stuck. I couldn't help but laugh at her. Anything I gave her she just looked at it and threw it back at me. So here is some of the footage that I caught taking pictures!!

This is right after she woke up, and I put her with her Toys.

Her in her little ball area....

This is her in her break down mode... ha ha.

This her after I 'un-stuck' her, and she was so mad at me!!

This is me trying to make my ammends...

Snuggle Buddy Gone...

So Rand is out of town this weekend for Weber State Golf. I have to say I am surprised that I am sad about it. I think its mostly due to the fact that I spend every waking minute with the kid, and now I have come to realize just how much time I devote to him! ha ha. I know I am pathetic, but I cant help it! So while he is gone I have decided to actually do my homework, clean more, and look at plenty of home decore for our beloved apartment. I have absolutely loved looking at all the wonderful things I can do with any type of space. I have fallen in love with IKEA, which is hilarious to me, only because I never took myself for that kind of girl. I am happy that am none the less which is great since I have a lifetime ahead of me and my wonderous creations! So anyway I just thought that I would share that little tid-bit with the world of bloggers. Love you all!

Road Trip

So first things first I thought I would catch you all up with our life! This week we had planned on getting Rands new car from his sister in Idaho. She was actually up here to play with everyone this past weekend, and was planning on returning to her beloved home on monday afternoon, with us as some short term visitors. Well as the weather decided to quickly ruin her plans, as well as ours since we were riding with her and her children five hours to their home, we suddenly were all bummed out by the worlds most bliss-full moments of painting our city white. So as our monday seemed to dissolve, we decided to play and have fun for another day. Later that night, over a bowl of honey bunches of oats(with almonds), we decided that we would take our enchanted voyage to Idaho wednesday night and return thursday afternoon. Well wednesday rolls around, and apparently mother nature had it out for us, cause it had snowed early that morning. The roads to Idaho were closed, and we decided that we were getting there one way or the other. So Lori (Rand's sister), Rand and I packed the car to its capacity and started the five hour drive to Idaho! Excitement filled the air as we started on the road. The girls (Brynn, and Bailey, Rand's Nieces) and I sat in the back smashed with a bookcase that Lori found as a MUST HAVE at Ikea. We colored and played games, as the boys (JJ, and Luke, The Nephews) crashed, and Lori and Rand disscusted the political topics of the day as well as other various topics. Well five hours of coloring, helping some strangers on the side of the road, Disney movies, interesting conversations with the funniest little girls, and stopping for a bite to eat at Wendy's, we had arrived!!! Boy were we excited to get out of that van!! Lori put all her kids to bed as Rand and I got ready for some much needed sleep. After that we watched some Seinfield, watched Lori put her book case together and strap that sucker to the wall so the boys wouldnt kill themselves with it, as passed out!! The next morning we woke up to JJ, saying, "Ma'ison what you doing?" ha ha classic! We had some German pancakes and said goodbye as all the kids left for school that morning, then we were on our way back to the lovely state of Utah!! Great trip I must say, we had tons of fun with the kids while they were here as well as in the car! So here are some funny pictures of the kids, oh yeah and Rand and I! Enjoy!

Rand getting excited to be on the road!!

Funny faces!!

This is JJ, spinning on the chair, making himself sick and dizzy.

Just us being all happy go lucky!
