Yep... I just did it. I registered for my 1st full, 26.2 Marathon. I am a little bit nervous, but I know I can do anything if I set my mind to it. Last time I did a solo race was the SLC 1/2 Marathon. Which I loved! I was barely pregnant, so I held myself back a little. I am hoping to finish this first Marathon in under 4hrs. So who knows if I can hit that.... Lets just pray that I am in one piece at the end.... Does anyone have any advise for a first timer? I can use all the help I can get!

I have never ran a race, but coach a lot of clients that run. The most success I see is when people have a training schedule and slowly work up on their miles, and then taper down a little bit right before their race, never actually doing the full 26.2 miles at any point during the training, and then STICKING to their training schedule. That's sooo very exciting though! Good luck Madi!
