Lone bird...

So this morning Rand left for a golf tournament in Santa Barbra California. Just in time too, cause this morning or this afternoon it started to snow as i am sure many of you fell witness too (don't worry he called to rub in the 65 degree weather). So I have pledged my self to finish the last book of the Stephanie Meyers series Twilight, and to get my butt finishing the loose ends on all this wedding crap. Now really i don't think planning a wedding is crap, but lately i have fallen subject to just going with the flow and hoping that by some magical fairy its all done!! ha ha NOT! I don't know about many of you, but i am just ready to have it here already, and in eight weeks it will be here! Yay!
On another note, i figure i should catch you all up on Rand and I. Well for those of you who dont know i nanny for my cousin, and really have come to enjoy it. This next week sadly is my last week, then i start my new job at a life insurance company as and APS Representative. So sadly i wont get paid to eat and be lazy anymore with the kids!! But hey i still get to keep my glorious job with the Utah Jazz. Mine and Rand's plan is for him to quite golf at Weber (I know its sad..) and work full time at a company called Horizon Financial. He is really excited about this since it applies to his future dreams of becoming a personal Financial Planner. So currently we are looking for an apartment somewhere close to home, and i will just commute to work everyday. :(
As for the big wedding plans, I pretty much have everything done. I am finishing up the flowers this weekend, as well my cake creation (which lets face is will be similar to Katie and Chase's cause i loved it so much... Thanks Katie) I need to get the bridesmaid dresses finished (or just a sleeve fixed, it came upside down), we need to find somewhere to call home sweet home, Find time with our new schedules to see each other, Finish addresses (hate it), take our engagements, and Bridals,Get Rand his Ring, All in the mean time while working two jobs, and going to school.... Oh yeah and finals are coming up.... Wow, its all a little breath taking isn't it? Oh and use my massage that Rand gave me for valentines to become stress free!! ha ha. One more thing, I have to work out every day doing P90X... which i recommend to everyone!! So if you have any advice feel free to leave it!!

Here is a funny Comic i found to drown out the stress...

Progressive Dinner... and other things...

So Rand and I recently both got the callings of activity chair and co-chair in our beloved singles ward. As if planning a wedding, finding somewhere to live, and a job isn't hard enough! ha ha. So we had this whole thing that we were in charge of, and I am giving all the credit to Rand for making things happen. I have been so stressed out and honestly I swear I never had time to do anything for it considering that I was put into the calling about three weeks before this huge event was to happen! So thanks babe!!

This past weekend my cousins triplets were sealed to them in the Salt Lake Temple. I wish I would have been able to share that experience with them, they are the most precious babies. Honestly they are a constant reminder to me that god works in mysterious ways, their whole story of how they came to be in our family is just such a strong testimony builder for me, and I am sure many in my extended family. They are such a blessing to Shelly and Sean, I have never seen them more happier and full of life if you can believe it!! Here are some pictures I stole from some of my cousin's pages....

Their cute little family!!

Ethan and Alex are fighting over my Dad's water bottle, he loves his Evian water and will share it with no one, except for these two cute boys!!

I love this picture of Lindsay and my Grandma... So Sweet!!

Apparently i've been tagged...

A: Each player answers the questions about themselves.
B: At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged on your blog.

What were you doing 10 years ago?

Madison:
I was a small little Beehive, trying to understand the fundamentals of becoming a woman. I probably thought some boy was cute, who knows. I bet I randomly sang out loud in the car with my family to the Backstreet boys or N'sync as my father shattered my hopes and dreams of becoming the next Britney Spears by telling me that I was a horrible singer... Oh well I kept on singing despite my pain.

Rand:
Ten years ago I was a 13 year old kid who was more concerned about playing sports everyday than I was about anything else. I loved playing basketball and baseball, and I was really starting to get heavily involved in golf. I was going through the ultimate awkward stage and I'm still not sure that I'm all the way out of it...

Five things on my "to-do" list today.

Madison:
1. Workout (P90X)
2. Watch my cousins kids
3. Stress about wedding stuff.
4. Clean up my room
5. Give Rand a big kiss

5. My Mom's Brownies

Rand:

3. Slurpees!
4. Chips and Salsa
5. Soda Pop

Three bad habits.

Madison:
1. Sometimes I bite my nails
2. I always swear when someone cuts me off...
3. I cant think of a third one.

Rand:
1. I always pick at my lips.(Drives Madison nuts)
2. I let laundry pile up before doing it.
3. I say stuff before I think...not a good habit.

If I were suddenly a billionaire I would.....

Madison:
Buy a nice house here and in Hawaii, I would like to travel all over Europe, Fiji, New York, Scotland (so Rand can golf with Chase), Guatemala, New Zealand, Egypt. Just basically see the world!!

Rand:
Invest most of it and live off the interest! I'd travel a lot and play every golf course I've always wanted to play. I'd also find a job that I would love to do and I'd volunteer a lot more!

Sad Loss...

Rand and his buddies from previous years of Davis High's basketball, got together and played on a little rec team. So every Thursday night for the past couple weeks we have been stuck in Farmington gym til at least eight or nine. Well last night needless to say Rand's team had two games for playoffs, and the championship. As they killed the first team to send them to the championship by twenty, they became evenly matched in the championship game. They lost by ten, but not leaving with out a few words said, and some harsh body language, they realized that they played good, and put up a nice fight but in the end came up a few baskets short. It was fun to relive some of Rand's old high school days and to get a small piece of that. Got to love basketball!
