Honeymoon Pictures...Finally!

I managed to finally get some pictures uploaded on Madi's computer from our honeymoon to Las Vegas, so here they are! We spent most of our time just lounging around and laying by the pool. It was great to escape the stresses of everyday life and wedding planning! We went to see Tony n Tina's Wedding at the Rio, which was entertaining...but they were fascinated with us being LDS and they had tons of questions!! It was a good time though. Hopefully these pics give you an idea of how our marriage is going...AWESOME!

Lake Powell, here we come!! I cant wait to finally do what i do best.... Tan, swim, layout, wake board, water ski, And just plain have nothing to do but read and chill with friends and family!! I will post some pictures when we get back!! Have a great week!

Best Sporting Event Ever...

Monday played host to what I in all honesty would call the greatest sporting event ever (this is Rand by the way). Tiger Woods went head to head with Rocco Mediate, who at the beginning of the day was ranked 158th in the world. They were playing in an 18 hole playoff for the U.S. Open. At the end of the day,one would be a champion and the other would be forgotten. I myself thought Tiger would roll right past him for his 14th major championship. I was in for a treat... The first ten holes played out as I expected, with Tiger jumping out to a 3 stroke lead after birdies at the 6th and 7th holes, and an unlikely par putt from the fringe on number ten. I thought it was over...Rocco battled back, however, as Tiger made a few rare mistakes. When Rocco birdied the 14th hole to pull even with Woods, the tension in the gallery was thick enough to cut with a knife. Rocco then kicked up the tension one more notch when he birdied fifteen to take a one stroke lead with three holes to play. They both parred the 16th and 17th, but once more Tiger displayed his heroics with a birdie on 18, forcing a "playoff playoff." On the first playoff hole, Tiger pulled away with a par which was good enough for his third U.S. Open title and fourteenth major championship. As for me, my heart was pounding for the last five or six holes. As an avid golfer myself, I was eating it up. I have to say that was the greatest U.S. Open I've ever seen and I'm brave enough to say it's also the best sporting event I've ever witnessed. Thank you Tiger and Rocco for giving us all a show that is sure to be remembered!

Tiger Does Again What He Does So Well

For anyone who is a golf fan, or even if you arent you have to admire Tiger Woods. Yeasterday he stormed back from a five shot deficit, with two eagles, one birdie on his final nine holes of the day. Although his hole-out on 17 was pure luck at best, who else would we have expected it from than Tiger himself. Even he couldn't believe what just happened. And if that wasn't enough to wow the fans in attendance at Torrey Pines, he smashed a drive down the middle on 18 despite his ailing knee injury. His second shot, a 225 yard 5-wood left him with about forty feet for eagle. His heroics continued as he snaked his putt down the ridge with a five foot break straight into the heart of the hole. This final charge on Saturday left him with a one stroke lead over Lee Westwood. Considering Tiger has never lost a major when he leads going into Sunday, this U.S. Open looks like it may be over. Tiger's knee is getting worse day by day, however, so Sunday looks more exciting than any major in history. The final round should play out with all the drama that we have been hoping for from Tiger and the rest of the field.

Marriage!!

I am sure that you are all wondering what happened to us, and wanting to see pictures of our day!! I get the pictures here in the next couple days so once I get them, they will go straight on here for you all to look at!! Oh and we had a great time in Vegas and will put some pictures up once Rand decides to get his bum to his parents to get his camera cord!! So hopefully soon I can put up pictures and tell you all about how wonderful the day was!!

Updates!!

Hey everyone, so I know that I have been a lame blogger for the past little while, but just know that our lives have been really crazy, and turned upside down!! Ha ha. I mean we get married next friday and I swear we still have so much to do. Everything though is going great, I'll fill you in on whats currently happening in our lives!

Rand is currently working for Horizon Financal, and is learning all the tricks and trade of the industry. He is still golfing as much as possible, matter of fact he just went yesterday up to midway to golf, and spent all morning up there. He will never let it go, and I wouldnt want him to as long as he buys me some pink golf clubs and a pink bag I am pretty sure I would learn to love it!(plus I wont make him quite like everyone thinks) He is getting super excited for next friday, if I havent scared him away just yet. ha ha. He has been a really big sweetheart when it comes to helping me with the wedding, seriously he even went and picked up my birth control for me cause I didnt have time!! It was hilarious!

As for myself, I am just up to getting everything ready for next weekend. I feel like its all come up so fast, I never thought time would just pass by like it has! I swear that I never have time to do anything, and Rand has been great to step up and help me whenever I need it. I currently work full time at an Insurance company down in Salt Lake, and I still work for the Utah Jazz on the rare occasion that I dont have anything else to do with the wedding!ha ha! Life is going great other than that, Rand and I are going to be living with his sister for a little bit, which is the kindest thing anyone has ever done for me. We are so excited to live with them, they are hilarious. As for everything else, life is just cruising on by! We really enjoy hanging out with our dear friends Katie and Chase Oborn, we are in a constant laughing ring when we all hang out. They are great!!

Honestly we are super excited to just have the BIG day here! I hope everyone is doing great and we love you all!!

California and Arizona Golf Trips

This semester has been a crazy one, but Madison and I are trying to have fun! Unfortunately, these golf trips are tough because they separate us for a few days and I have to leave her at home while we go out and golf...(I know what you're thinking...wow that must be a tough life!). Madison knows I love her and that I look forward to seeing her the minute I get home. I thought I'd post a few pics and let everybody see what it's like to come on a trip with our team. Enjoy!


This is a picture of our car and how it is typically loaded with all of our clubs and suitcases. It's always a pretty tight squeeze. Each time we load it up it's like playing a new game of tetris!

We first met...

I just thought you all would love to reall get an inside look at Rand and I's first meeting. When I saw this I just had to laugh at how realistically they portrayed Rand. I mean he was just so persistant. You would die to learn about our first kiss!! To put it frankly I was "speechless". ha ha. Just watch and see for yourselves!
