Road Trip

So first things first I thought I would catch you all up with our life! This week we had planned on getting Rands new car from his sister in Idaho. She was actually up here to play with everyone this past weekend, and was planning on returning to her beloved home on monday afternoon, with us as some short term visitors. Well as the weather decided to quickly ruin her plans, as well as ours since we were riding with her and her children five hours to their home, we suddenly were all bummed out by the worlds most bliss-full moments of painting our city white. So as our monday seemed to dissolve, we decided to play and have fun for another day. Later that night, over a bowl of honey bunches of oats(with almonds), we decided that we would take our enchanted voyage to Idaho wednesday night and return thursday afternoon. Well wednesday rolls around, and apparently mother nature had it out for us, cause it had snowed early that morning. The roads to Idaho were closed, and we decided that we were getting there one way or the other. So Lori (Rand's sister), Rand and I packed the car to its capacity and started the five hour drive to Idaho! Excitement filled the air as we started on the road. The girls (Brynn, and Bailey, Rand's Nieces) and I sat in the back smashed with a bookcase that Lori found as a MUST HAVE at Ikea. We colored and played games, as the boys (JJ, and Luke, The Nephews) crashed, and Lori and Rand disscusted the political topics of the day as well as other various topics. Well five hours of coloring, helping some strangers on the side of the road, Disney movies, interesting conversations with the funniest little girls, and stopping for a bite to eat at Wendy's, we had arrived!!! Boy were we excited to get out of that van!! Lori put all her kids to bed as Rand and I got ready for some much needed sleep. After that we watched some Seinfield, watched Lori put her book case together and strap that sucker to the wall so the boys wouldnt kill themselves with it, as passed out!! The next morning we woke up to JJ, saying, "Ma'ison what you doing?" ha ha classic! We had some German pancakes and said goodbye as all the kids left for school that morning, then we were on our way back to the lovely state of Utah!! Great trip I must say, we had tons of fun with the kids while they were here as well as in the car! So here are some funny pictures of the kids, oh yeah and Rand and I! Enjoy!

Funny faces!!

This is JJ, spinning on the chair, making himself sick and dizzy.

Just us being all happy go lucky!
